Verification scope

Comparators: Irish market averages represented by SBLAS herds, chosen for function, substitutability and data availability.

How verification works

As part of verification, Carbon Trust reviewed product and comparator carbon footprints, assessed data quality and uncertainty, and carried out due diligence checks, verifying that the highest possible footprint for our products remained below the lowest possible footprint across all comparator products. This confirmed that all our verified products demonstrate lower lifecycle emissions than their SBLAS comparator equivalents.
